Marriage Guidelines
If you are Planning to get Married in the Catholic Church, we at Holy Redeemer want to be the first to congratulate you for this important step in your life, and we will pray for you as you begin your planning and preparation.
Marriage Requirements:
1. Contact Fr. Jorge Hernandez to schedule an initial appointment.

2. If there are no prior marriages for either bride of groom, then we can proceed with the preparation and the scheduling of your wedding date. If there are prior marriages, we would not be able to set up a marriage date until any prior marriages can be annulled by the Tribunal office in the Archdioces. The priest can help you to begin the annulment process, please contact him for an Annulment appointment.
3. The priest will direct you to schedule a weekend Marriage Preparation at an appropriate time and location.
4. Provide photocopies of the following documents:
* Birth Certificate * Baptismal Certificate (Updated Copy) * If the couple is already civilly married and wish to convalidate their marriage in the Catholic Church, provide the Civil Marriage Certificate * If a widow/er, provide the spouse's death certificate.
5. Obtain a Marriage License at City Hall a week before your schedule Wedding Ceremony and bring it to the Parish Priest officiating.
